Clyde North has been one of the fastest-growing suburbs in the country for a decade, and estates like Berwick Waters, Selandra Rise, Meridian and Eliston are almost entirely new construction. Practically everything we do here involves contemporary glazing: very large stacker and sliding panels, frameless shower screens, glass splashbacks and a great deal of pool fencing as landscaping is completed. Two local factors matter — reactive clay soils, which means pool fence footings need to be sized for movement rather than minimally, and large west-facing glazing on compact blocks, which produces thermal stress cracks in the first few hot summers.
