Who we are

Clear Vision Glass and Glazing (“we”, “us”) operates clearvisionglass.com.au and provides glass and glazing services from 14 Justin Place, Pakenham VIC 3810. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and how we handle it. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

We only collect what we need to quote and carry out glazing work:

• Contact details you give us — your name, phone number, email address and suburb, submitted through our enquiry form or given to us over the phone.
• Job details — the description you provide and any photographs or documents you attach to an enquiry.
• Site address — where we are attending to carry out work.
• Insurance details — where you ask us to bill an insurer, the insurer name and claim number.
• Website analytics — aggregated, non-identifying usage data such as pages visited and approximate region, collected through Vercel Analytics and, where enabled, Google Tag Manager.

We do not collect payment card details through this website, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
• To arrange access and schedule the work.
• To supply quotes, photographs and invoices to your insurer where you have asked us to.
• To invoice you and keep the business records we are legally required to keep.
• To improve the website, using aggregated analytics only.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your details for marketing unrelated to your enquiry without your consent.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only where it is necessary to do the work or where we are required to by law. That may include:

• Your insurer or their assessor, where you have asked us to bill or quote to a claim.
• Your property manager, landlord or owners corporation, where they have engaged us on your behalf.
• Suppliers and fabricators, limited to the measurements and specification needed to make your glass.
• Service providers that operate this website and our email — including Vercel (hosting and analytics) and Resend (enquiry email delivery).
• Our accountant, and any authority we are legally obliged to disclose to.

Storage and security

Enquiries submitted through this website are delivered to us by email and stored in our business email account. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Some of the service providers we use may store data on servers located outside Australia. We only use providers that apply appropriate protections to that data.

How long we keep it

We keep job and invoicing records for as long as we are required to under Australian tax and business record-keeping laws, and for as long as is reasonably necessary to handle any warranty or dispute relating to work we have carried out. Enquiries that do not proceed to a job are deleted once they are no longer of any use.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses minimal cookies. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights collect aggregated performance and usage data that does not identify you personally. Where Google Tag Manager is enabled, it may load additional analytics or advertising tags. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; the site will continue to work.

Accessing and correcting your information

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Call us on 0456 927 699 or send the request through our contact form and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Complaints
