The permanent re-glaze then follows once we have the correct glass on hand, cut to size and to the right grade for that location. The right glass grade, not just the right size
Glass near a door, in a low window, in a bathroom or beside a stair has to be Grade A safety glass under AS 1288. A surprising number of older Pakenham and Berwick homes have ordinary annealed glass in those positions because it was replaced cheaply at some point. When we re-glaze, the new pane goes in at the grade the location actually requires.
